Digital Branding Specialist. I was born into a house that had two rules: no TV, and always keep learning. The second rule was taught by example. My mother founded and fostered a company that constructed and sold personal computers in a time when the concept was truly foreign. Our household was filled with computers, with a mandate attached: work, learn, explore, and grow. As I grew older, these ma
ndates stayed with me. Even if I didn’t enjoy traditional education, I did want to keep learning and growing, especially in digital spaces that were so familiar to me. Social media and digital marketing became those spaces for me, thanks in part to a handful of innovative companies. Before “e-commerce solutions” and “affiliate programs” became mainstream marketing techniques, I studied data points, produced content, and poured over strategic game plans that would lead to a robust presence. I grow businesses by obeying those same rules: work to produce relevant and interesting content, learn about the space and how it’s constantly changing, explore methods to improve digital relations, and keep key business objectives in mind. Today my passion for learning and growing in digital spaces has led to more than nine years in the digital marketing industry, as well as the creation of PinkCilantro as an agency in mid 2014. Our agency works with businesses every day -- and not by just going through the steps to produce anyone-can-do-it content. Rather, we take the time to thoroughly understand the obstacles they are facing, and learn how we can address and achieve their goals with our digital tools at hand. From Fortune 500 companies to energetic start-ups, from Houston non-profits and institutions, to passion projects looking to reach the community, we serve a variety of needs. As much as we love social media tricks, and beautiful content, our overall goal is and will always be centered around building data-driven solutions to meet business objectives.
