Modern life is so frustrating. We need to keep moving, particularly at my age. But the constant change in the climate, which was pretty much unbearable in July and August last year, is now that way in June. Going out this morning for a brisk walk at 9 am left me sweating and a exhausted and looking for an alternative. I live out in the country with lots of trees and usually some breeze. But it's too hot. So it's looking like I need some sort of exercise machine that I can use in air-conditioning and that just seems so stupid. I have to do that because millions of people prefer to own trucks and use airplanes and so on, which is raising the temperature a little every week as we move toward a period when we can't go outside for more than a few minutes. And then can't go outside at all.
