Adopt-A-Palooza is only a few days away and our excitement is quickly mounting!

Today, we'd like to shine a spotlight on a few of the adoptable pups that will be joining us from our friends at the Galena Park Animal Shelter. All four of these adoptable pets are up to date on their vaccines & have been neutered/spayed.

Adopt-A-Palooza kicks of at 11am sharp on July 11! We'll see you there!

From our partners:

Duke 🐾 - Duke is a sweet and energetic Husky mix with a playful spirit and a big heart. He’s great with other dogs and would love an active home where he can run, play, and be part of the fun.

Gus 💙 - Gus is a friendly, happy pup who loves everyone he meets! He enjoys playing with other dogs & walks beautifully on a leash.

Rudy 🐕 - Meet Rudy, a gentle hearted pup with so much potential. He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but a few ear scritches are the quickest way to win him over!

Roxy 💚 - Roxy is a gentle, sweet girl who’s a little shy. She would be best in a calm,
patient home where she can continue to blossom.

This is Mira.

For such a young kitten, Mira has already faced a mighty challenge early in her life. She was found injured, hiding inside of a car engine. Thanks to one of our trusted shelter partners, she was saved.

Unfortunately, injuries to her front left leg proved to be too severe, resulting in an amputation.

Today, she is fully healed and doesn't let her limitation slow her down for a second. She runs, jumps, and explores just like any other kitten.

While her body is 100% healed, her heart is still learning to trust. Mira is naturally shy. She isn't the biggest fan of being picked up or carried around, preferring to observe the world from her own chosen perspective...wherever that may be.

Mira will do best in a home that's understanding of her feelings. She needs to be treated with patience, kindness, and a gentle approach as she grows into her new surroundings. She would do best in a calm, adult-only home where her family understands that the most meaningful relationships are the ones that take a little time to grow.

If you are willing to let this brave little survivor come to you at her own pace, you’ll get the absolute privilege of watching her blossom.

To meet Mira, please join us at Adopt-a-Palooza this Saturday from 11am - 2pm. Mira will be joined by dozens of other adoptable cats, kittens, dogs, & puppies at the event. We'll see you there!
