Do not expect people to always do the right thing where you are concerned. Especially when you serve God. We live in a fallen world, and people will do wrong to you knowingly, or unknowingly.

Instead, expect to practice self control when people mistreat you. If you honor them in spite of giving in to foolishness, you will surely be rewarded.

Let’ see what the Bible says about what happens when you’re mistreated:

1 Peter 4:14 The Message

If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed; because the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

On their part he is blasphemed, but on your part he is glorified.

Check it!! On YOUR part HE IS GLORIFIED!!

On THIER part HE IS BLASPHEMED. 😳
