Happy $6 Senior Friday!

We have more donations coming in and that means more donations going out to help families in need. In just a few weeks, we have had the privilege of helping many families and this weekend, we will be helping six more. I feel so incredibly honored to be in this position, to be giving back to those in the community and helping keep families together. I would also like to credit our volunteers who have been selflessly delivering donations straight to the doors of these families so that no one has to worry about trying to arrange transport. This work takes a village, and we certainly have an incredible one.

Now on the rescue side, we have the twins who will be headed to their forever home which we cannot wait! But we will also be getting a return which saddens me quite a bit. One of Petunia's pups is coming back into rescue due to changes in his family. It's unfortunate, but he is coming back home where he will begin looking for his new one.

Happy $6 Senior Friday!

Today Rylie is headed to the vet. Monday was originally the date for her recheck, but something unexpected happened right before and we had to unfortunately cancel last minute. Rylie is okay, everyone is okay, and Rylie has her recheck today. She is doing well and I am sure she will get a good report. Next step will be coordinating Rylie and Rush's upcoming trip to Maryland where their forever home awaits them! We cannot be more excited, and this will be our very first bonded pair headed out of state, and they are 14yrs old!
