Make sure your signage is clearly visible from the street and
the lettering is large enough to read. Ideally, a two-sided sign should be
placed perpendicular to the street so passing vehicles can view it more
easily.

Don’t get carried away or put so much info on the sign that it can’t easily be read from the street. Include the phone number and date of availability in a very clear spot. You can also add the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, as well as any special features.
