ICYMI: Willowbrook Mall is bringing back its youth curfew. The mall says it’s in response to recent social media activity, indicating plans for another teen takeover. The temporary curfew takes effect Saturday at three. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult. Security will check I-D’s at mall entrances. The mall says it will not accept more than four minors per adult. Now you know.

According to the Woodlands Fire Dept. a baby is safe this morning after being surrendered safely and legally inside a “Safe Haven Baby Box” at Fire Station 6. The department posted about it on Facebook. Moments after the baby was placed in the box, a silent alarm went out to firefighters who took the baby to the hospital to be checked out. Texas law allows a parent to anonymously surrender an infant 60 days old or younger at designated emergency facilities without facing criminal charges.

ICYMI: A potato chip recall is more serious than previously thought. The FDA just upped the risk level for “Zapp’s” and “Dirty” chips. This stems from the powdered milk recall that we’ve been following for weeks. The company that makes the chips says it uses the same powdered milk that could contain salmonella. This latest update labels these chips as a class one meaning “a reasonable probability” that you could get sick despite batch tests coming back negative for the bacteria.
