our bread:
The bread that we make is from a sourdough starter! Our bread takes around 24-48 hours to make, depending on how cold the weather is. The dough is fermented and it allows for easier digestion, more nutrients, and a much better for you product. We use a homemade potato flake sourdough starter that we feed, then let sit and grow for 6-8 hours. Once the starter is ready we make the dough and it rises for 12 hours until doubled in size. After the dough has risen it is formed into the desired shape and then rises again for 5-12 hours before baking. We put a ton of effort and love into our bread and we hope that our customers love it as much as we do!
- About us:
We are a big happy family of 7. I, Brittany, am the one in charge of the operation and I do the baking. Our oldest daughter Isabelle is my right hand gal. She is 9 years old and she loves to help me. Her younger sister, Arya, my 6 year old, also likes to help. Their younger siblings, Zeke (5), Maia(3), and Darius(18m) lend their cuteness for support. All together we make The Little Ramirez Bakery! When we aren't making bread, I am a stay at home momma and homeschool teacher and I am a full time caregiver for Zeke, who is disabled. Devin is an industrial painter and is in full time school to be in cyber security. This business helps us get him through school so he doesn't have to work two jobs. We appreciate all of your support!
- Ordering:
We take orders at all times! You may comment on a post that we put out or message us here on Facebook. Please tell us what it is you would like and how much.
- Payment:
You may pay in cash or through paypal by giving us your paypal email and we will send you an invoice. The invoice must be paid in 24 hours or your order will not be completed.
- Pickup/delivery:
All orders must be picked up by you and we will tell you when your order is ready. **Once your order has been made and you have been contacted about picking it up, you have 24 hours to do so. After that, the products will go to another customer. We are sorry for any inconvenience that this may cause but we must implement this in order to insure that we are sending out the freshest product possible!**
We may be able to arrange to deliver your order to you if you are within a 10 mile radius and if you buy a minimum of $10 dollars and there will be a $5 delivery fee.
