Raynboe Swan
The first class back wasn’t his favorite, but today he walked in ready.
We accomplished so much. He’s back to floating independently, his confidence is growing, and we’re working toward becoming Safety Test Ready so we can move on to more advanced skills.
Progress isn’t always linear. Some days are harder than others, but what matters is showing up and trying again.
The best part? Grandma was waiting at the end of class, ready to shower him with love, excitement, and praise for all his hard work. Those moments help build confidence just as much as the skills we teach.
Way to go, buddy! More progress coming soon.

To truly pass our Safety Test, a swimmer has to perform every skill with their parents—not just with their coach. Parents are the ones with their kids outside of lessons, so these skills need to transfer beyond class time.
This swimmer is brand new to our program, no prior lessons before joining us. She's comfortable going down the slide with coach support. With a parent, it was a different story—big emotions, right away. We stayed with it. Worked through every uncomfortable second.
In 9 classes, she passed her Safety Test.
Progress isn't always quiet. Sometimes it's tears, hesitation, and a kid who keeps going anyway.

He’s preparing for his safety test. Yes, it’s challenging for him. Yes, he’s uncomfortable. He feels it, talks through it, and does it. It may not look like a successful day to you, but progress isn’t always measured by smiles. Today was about working through big emotions, facing challenges, and pushing forward anyway. Every tear, every attempt, every small win. All part of the process.
Parents, I know it’s hard to watch your child cry. It gets easier when you go through the process alongside them and trust your coaches to guide them through those hard moments. Confidence isn’t built in comfort. It’s built in discomfort. What comes out the other side is stronger.
One lesson at a time, we’re building a safer, stronger, more confident swimmer.
