overcome my laissez faire attitude about checking the mail and finding naught but bills and junk mail. As it came time to write thank you notes for my friends and family when I got married, I decided, thanks to some encouragement from my very creative mom and sister, that handmade cards would be a nice touch. Making the cards and hearing how they were appreciated by my dearest friends encouraged me to continue making cards, and as my husband and I began having parties I found myself creating invitations that fit exactly what I had in mind. My friends at work were extremely supportive of my endeavors, and urged me to begin posting on etsy. Today, I wake up every morning with my head filled with ideas for new cards and invitations. I love the versatility of paper, and the endless new ways I can create exactly the look or feeling I want. Mostly, I love knowing that someone, somewhere, will be getting one of the cards I created, and will walk away from their mailbox smiling.
