🌟 Scoliosis Awareness for Kids 🌟

Did you know that scoliosis (sideways curvature of the spine) can affect children as they grow? It’s important to catch it early so that your child can grow with a healthy, strong spine!

🔍 What is Scoliosis?
Scoliosis is when the spine curves sideways, forming a "C" or "S" shape, instead of being straight. While it’s common, early detection and regular checks can help prevent issues in the future!

👶 Signs to Look For:

Uneven shoulders
One shoulder blade sticking out more than the other
One side of the back appearing higher when bending over
Clothes not fitting properly (e.g., uneven hems or collars)

🏃‍♂️ How to Help:

Regular Check-ups: Ensure your child gets regular posture checks at their annual check-ups.
Posture Awareness: Encourage your child to stand tall with their shoulders back and head up.
Exercise & Stretching: Core-strengthening and stretching exercises help support the spine.

💡 Why It Matters:
When caught early, scoliosis can be managed with a range of treatments such as physical therapy, braces, and sometimes surgery. Early detection is key to preventing long-term pain and improving posture!

Let’s keep our little ones healthy and active! 💪
