When your 3PL keeps missing, the instinct is to start over somewhere new. Slow down first.

Sometimes the fix is simple. Your provider may be missing key information about how your orders should ship, and the problems clear up once they have it. Other times their team turned over or their systems changed, and the SOPs that used to work quietly got dropped. Retrain the people, restore the process, and things run right again.

Give your current 3PL that honest chance. If you have made the real effort and service still isn't improving, it's probably time to move. That doesn't make them a bad 3PL. It usually means they're built for a different kind of work than yours. The right move is finding a partner that fits the specific things your brand needs.
