A thought for the day...
Since an overseer is entrusted with God's work, he must be blameless - not overbearing, not quick tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

As men raising their family in this age, each man must be predisposed to what God purposes to accomplish in his life. In the opening verse of Ps. 128:1 "Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in His ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.

Raising our personal family is equally if not more important, because those that enter the Lords house are products of our efforts.
The results of God working within us both the will and to do should not contridict the other. And should continually present the Spirits perfect work. Our example being formed into the image of Gods Son starts with us first.
As men we must demonstrate who is the head of their lives, this fruit will be evident in ones season. The unmistakeable outcomes will prove Gods "good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God. "So Let's return to the basics, discovering our fruitful relationship with Christ.
