On March 29th, we had the great privilege of hosting the annual fundraising dinner for our organization, SOS French in Texas, held under the high patronage of Mr. Laurent Bili, Ambassador of France to the United States at Artisans Restaurant in Houston (thank you very much Jacques Fox for your support).
Our mission is clear and urgent: to support French-speaking individuals in distress, the majority of whom are victims of domestic violence, throughout Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Oklahoma.
We were deeply honored by the presence and support of: French Senator Sophie Briante Guillemont, Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia, Consul General of France in Houston Valérie Baraban, Consul General of France in New Orleans Rodolphe Sambou and President of the Albertine Foundation Patrick Pagni. We thank each of them for their time, their travel, and their commitment to standing with us on this important evening.
