Just released my new song Comfort Me on all streaming platforms.
A quick synopsis: I am working on a project called 'Death and The Things We Dream Of' looking at the social and emotional aspects of death and the things we value most during our lives. My first song 4 Seasonz deals with the desire for more time and the changing stages of life. Comfort Me deals with the period after death when family and friends come together to help get through the tough times. Take a listen and let me know what you think.

I released my first official song a few days ago. A little short background. I have been writing for years now, but I mostly kept it to myself, and just wrote because I enjoyed it. For a long time I was content showing only a few people what I wrote, but with the pushing of Troy I started recording. He got his studio set up, and we got to work doing what we love. At first I wanted to put out an EP, but things didn't work out. So I decided to put out an album instead. I scrapped all the songs from the EP and began a whole new project in August. I knew that the first song I would release had to be 4 Seasonz.

A short synopsis of the song: 4 Seasonz is dedicated to my uncle who passed away a while back. It is a metaphor on life and the stages we go through every year and throughout life (Spring - Birth/Childhood; Summer - Adolescence/Young Adulthood; Fall - Late Adulthood; Winter - Old Age/Death). These seasons we go through help us mark the passing time, and just like every year some people don’t make it through every season, everyone does not make it through every season of life. The overall message is that we have to learn to enjoy every season because we never know who will be in the next season of our life.
