Friends I got educated and trained as an Engineer working in domestic and international markets. Mid 90s, I came back to Houston to become a businessman operating a top rated Exxon Dealership. Within a few years I ended up organizing dealers into a franchisee trade group and taking the behemoth that Exxon was to a federal court in 1997 (Mathis v. Exxon.) Took the proceeds from that lawsuit and got me an MBA, later becoming a consultant for Franchisee - Franchisor matters and in 2010, at the age of 48 went to law school. Graduated with JD in 2013 but didn’t take the bar or practice until 2015. Since then I am blessed working with a network of top-rated and specialized law firms.
2022 was very good but the best is yet to come.
