These photos done by mark the fulfillment of a very personal project created and shot by in solidarity of the movement. It was an absolute honor being able to be a part of such a powerful project even if it was on the wrong side of the camera for me lol. We as a community are tired of watching our people killed in the streets. We as a community are tired of living life in the scope of a prison guards rifle. We are tired of the mistreatment of our children. The constant embarrassment of yet another code switch. We ARE Black and proud. We ARE NOT automatically a threat. We ARE taking a stand to say WE DO MATTER.
