Standards & Falls Iris

S&FI ladies on the road, summer 2026 – just returned from a fab trip to Detroit. Seriously we wanted to stay there forever, or at least til their next cold front….. We found lots of irises – including a Louisiana Iris, what??? At the lovely Piet Oudolf garden on Belle Isle, we discovered a humble Iris fulva blooming in the rain garden. The horticulture director told us Mr. Oudolf requested the copper iris after seeing one on a hort scouting visit in Missouri. Iris geeks, out!

Looking for words to describe the ethereal paleness of this group of irises, we are pretty much speechless. Gorgeous, all of them!
