​Next month, a remarkable single mother will graduate from Lone Star college, proving that with enough determination, no goal is out of reach. We are so proud to have played a small part in her journey.

​Thanks to your generosity, Project Prom now supports students from K-12 through College. Our mission has grown because your hearts have grown.

​Special thanks to Alley Theatre for their incredible donations from the Real Women Have Curves production. This dress didn't just belong on a stage—it now belongs to a shero!!

​5 years ago, I had my first interview with Voyage Magazine.. Back then, I was just beginning to share my heart for the community and my dreams for Raices Unidas .

​Today, I am so honored to be featured by them for a SECOND time! Looking at these two articles side-by-side, I am overwhelmed by everything we’ve accomplished together over the last half-decade:

Raices Unidas is hosting our 6th Annual Project Prom, and we’re collecting gently used prom dresses and brand-new shoes, accessories, and gentleman attire for local students.

Students will be able to shop for FREE — no questions asked. 💚

This year we’re also proud to:

🎓 Award 5 scholarships to local students
