Sometimes the hardest thing to face is the truth sitting in your own heart, but that’s exactly where your breakthrough begins. When you allow yourself to sit with the discomfort, you create space for real growth and transformation. This past weekend, after serving our community 🤝🏽❤️, we hit a solid 3.6 mile hike-walk 🥾🌳, AND pulled up on the elephants at Hermann Park like some eco-conscious explorers 🐘👣.
Now listen… Houston Black Hikers been outside since January 2025 📅, and some of y’all STILL haven’t touched grass 🧐🌱. Not even once!
Meanwhile, my guy Dre from South Carolina ✈️➡️ found our Houston Tribe, booked an Uber from PORTER 🚗, and showed up like it was nothing 🔥.
That’s dedication. That’s tribe energy. That’s “outside ain’t gone hike itself” energy ⚡️🫶🏽.
So if Dre can Uber from Porter just to see some trees and vibes… what’s your excuse? 👀
