When I asked CJ what he was most proud of he mentioned his performance in baseball, his good grades, and being able to keep a good mood through his busy schedule. 📚

I have had the pleasure of working with CJ for the past four years and he is one of the most hardworking students I know. CJ is taking all AP classes and has managed to keep straight As throughout his entire high school career. Last month he made the high school baseball team, and last week he was promoted to the varsity team! ⚾

CJ truly is an inspiration to me and I am so unbelievably proud of what he has been able to accomplish so far. ✨

Congratulations to January’s student of the month, Nora! 🥳🙌🏽💛

Nora always shows up to our live Spanish lessons with a big smile on her face and within seconds greets me with, “¡Hola Profe Nikki! ¿Cómo estás?” ☺️

Not only has Nora been working hard during our live lessons, she’s also been practicing at home! She’s made her own flashcards, has practiced singing and dancing to her Spanish songs, and has even gone on scavenger hunts to find her Spanish vocabulary words around her neighborhood! 👩🏼‍🏫✨

When I asked Nora what she is proud of she mentioned her baby brother, that she is a good student, that she can build forts by herself, and how she can ride her bike really fast without training wheels! 🫶🏽👶🏼🚲

When I asked Bri what she's most proud of she mentioned being successful in school, being a hard worker, and trying out PAP history this year. This girl has been putting in the work and it shows! 📚

Not only is Bri thriving academically, she is one of the most responsible middle schoolers I know. When she noticed she had a missing assignment from when she was absent, she immediately reached out to her teacher to make up the work. Congratulations on such a strong start to the school year Bri! I'm so proud of you. 🤗✨

It’s that time of year again! 👩🏼‍🏫 🏫

Not every child feels excited about going back to school, and that’s ok. For some, the new school year can bring anxiety and uncertainty. But just like we practice our math or reading, we can practice building confidence too! ✨

Daily affirmations like, “I am confident and brave,” can make a big difference in how a student feels about facing new challenges. Let’s remind our kids that they are capable and strong, and together, we can support them every step of the way. 🙌🏽
