Ivy Greene Academy
Sometimes, children just need to get their hands dirty. More like, all the time. And the research backs it up. Time in nature is actually essential for development.
~ Builds stronger sensory processing and motor skills
~ Increases creativity and independent thinking
~ Reduces stress and improves emotional regulation
At Ivy Greene, we are big on getting children outdoors and giving them plenty of unstructured play time. This might mean more laundry for you, but it's well worth it.
What you get in return is joy, creativing, confidence, and a child who loves going to school.
What if your child’s first business wasn’t just about making money, but about discovering who they are and their impact on the world?
That’s exactly what happens during our annual Entrepreneurship Quest.
Before a single product is made or a price tag is set, we ask deep questions:
~ What do you love doing?
~ What are you naturally good at?
~ What makes you excited to get out of bed in the morning?
These questions help students reflect on their unique gifts, passions, and community, because we believe that real entrepreneurship starts with self-awareness and introspection.
From there, we ask:
~ What problems do you see in the world?
~ How can your interests help someone else?
Suddenly, business becomes more than just selling. It becomes a way to serve, to create with meaning and to connect identity with impact.
At our Children’s Business Fair, students bring these ideas to life. They are able to pitch to potential customers, answer questions in person, and manage their earnings. These real-life skills can only be built through experiences, not books.
At Ivy Greene, we don’t just raise young entrepreneurs.
We raise purpose-driven problem solvers who are prepared with real-world skills.
