A Quick Update:

This fall has been a very fruitful season. From the end of August till the beginning of October, we have had 7 weeks straight of revival meetings. We were in Illinois, Texas, Missouri, Minnesota, and Ohio. Each one has been unique an each one has been so meaningful.
We have heard testimony after testimony of God's work in folk's hearts during this fall. Praise be to God.

During the middle of September, my grandfather (on my mom's side) passed away. That meant we had to shorten one of our meetings so I could fly back to Maine for the funeral.

Upon returning and starting the next meeting, all 3 children came down with Hand, Foot, and Mouth. We were able to keep traveling but had to quarantine the kids for two weeks.

When in Ohio, a church gifted us a brand new set of times for our truck. That's 6 tires...a gift of about $2,500. Such a huge blessing!

God's Protection!
Just as we were getting ready to leave Ohio and head to our next meeting, we experienced the sovereign protection of God. We had the trailer all packed up, the kids in their car seats, and I was doing one final walk-around inspection of the trailer. I noticed one of my four trailer tires was worn in an unusual pattern. I got down to inspect it and realized one side of the tire had been worn right down to metal. If we had gotten on the interstate it would've blown within a couple hours. One of the men in the church owned a tire and auto shop in town. We brought the trailer to him and his guys began working on it. We found out that the "U" bolts that held the back axel and leaf springs together had come loose. (The only thing holding it all together was the weight of the fifth wheel.) They were able to replace the "U" bolts, realign the axel and leaf springs, and replace the tire within 4 hours. We missed the opening service for the retreat I was heading to, but God saved us from a surely catastrophic accident. If He hadn't shown me the tire problem, which lead to realizing the axel problem, we could have been in a terrible mess. The mechanic said, "Praise God you had a tire problem."
As I write this, we are finishing a scheduled rest week in Mount Joy, PA. It has been very refreshing to sit under preaching, be able to take my wife out on a date, and get caught up on work and sleep. (We also visited Chocolate World in Hershey, PA :)

Answers to Prayer:
1. Emma is at 32 weeks and doing well.
2. We found a birth center in Houston with which we are very pleased.
3. We found a place to park our trailer while we're home.

Prayer Need:
Would you pray with us that the Lord would make a way for us to buy a house in Houston? We have a realtor and we've been reapproved for a loan. Houston has an exceptional first-time-homebuyer program. We are currently in the process of applying for it. We need God to provide and direct us to the right house.

Thank you for your love and prayers for us!
