Melissa Rauch is an American actress and comedian best known for her celebrated work in television comedy. She achieved international fame for her portrayal of the high-pitched, sweet-yet-tough microbiologist Bernadette Rostenkowski-Wolowitz on the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, a role that earned her a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination. Beyond her landmark ensemble comedy work, Rauch co-wrote, produced, and starred in the independent film The Bronze (2015). She currently serves as both the executive producer and lead star—playing Judge Abby Stone—in the revival series of the classic television workplace comedy Night Court.
