Super interesting Docuseries Living to 100 Secrets of the Blue Zones on Netflix. I love to study different ways to improve longevity, energy, boosting mood, natural remedies for aches and pains, mobility, strength and muscle building, nutrition and overall wellness. At Camp Redemption I don’t just promise you will look good and lose the inches you desire but also focus on keeping you thriving, energetic and as mobile as possible. I believe there is nothing thats worth more to us then our health and time here on this big blueberry. After all everything you do from home life to work life to recreation all requires your body mind and spirit to function. Three of the biggest notes from this serious you can take away is that you must dial in with what you put in your body as well as up your movement and develop a strong mindset. Here in America our life expectancy has dropped significantly in the last 20 years. 70%+ of us are overweight sick and lazy. Life expectancy is around 76 years old. We only get so much time with friends, family and Gods beautiful creation that we stand on. Let’s stop making excuses and start shifting our bad habits to good habits and learn simple tricks to keep you stacking Ws. Having positive conversations with yourself and learning that this truly is a marathon and not a race. A by product of focusing on health and wellness (both mental and physical) is the aesthetics you desire. What if I told you I could give you 10-15 years more of life. 2023 is upon us…
We have saved and archived every inspirational quote. We have built elaborate dream/vision boards. We follow fitness influencers for motivation. And we have the pump up playlist ready to go.

All those little tricks are short lived though..Motivation is short term. If you’re relying on motivation to conquer your goals you’ll make it work a couple days out of each month but end up idling and looking for another spark when you fall off. New year motivation is fueling you today.. how long will that last? Maybe by February your looking for some new material..

However DISCIPLINE…
Will get you from point A to B with every obstacle in between. It’s the shift in your mindset that tells you no matter what happens I’m going to stick to it! Regardless of my situation today tomorrow or next year. I’m going to commit to living this way. High and low days don’t matter.

How do I create discipline for myself?

1. Recognize you need to change and the importance of it.

2. Stop looking to feel good when you need to be productive. Understand every day will bring itself unique challenges. A good day and a bad day aren’t decided on the weather or the circumstances around you. It’s all on how you handle it. Your thoughts control your outcome.

3. Work on small daily habits that support your goals

4. Take care of the future you.
This one really helps me out. Train yourself to think of yourself as a provider/protector for yourself. We are last on our list of priorities. We’ll take care of everyone else first but ourselves.
I am who I am today because of the choices I made yesterday. Old Joe set me up good today and I’m grateful he decided to take action to bring me here. We save money for our kids college fund and work towards our children’s future. Protect them, feed them, clothe them, do our best to put them in the best situations we can. Let’s bring that same energy to our own lives. Future you is counting on it!!
