Today we honor Juneteenth a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring strength of the Black community.
On June 19, 1865 more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation, the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston Texas learned they were free. Juneteenth serves as a reminder to celebrate progress, reflect on our history, and continue working toward a future rooted in equality, dignity, and opportunity for all.
At Surrogate Prime, we are grateful for the diverse community of surrogates, intended parents, and partners who help make family building possible every day. Today…we pause to recognize the significance of this important day and celebrate the resilience, achievements, and contributions of the Black community. Happy Juneteenth!💛💚❤️
