About two years ago I published "Aunt Nealy's House" on Amazon. I had always wanted to write/illustrate a childrens book but I had always talked myself out of finishing any projects because I didn't think I was "good enough yet". If it weren't for the motivation/guilting from my friend Nealy, I probably would have never published this book. This project gave me the courage to write/illustrate my second book which I published about a year ago. Now I'm working on illustrating a third book! This one I didn't write but was commissioned to do the artwork. I didn't plan for all this to happen, because I didn't think it was possible. I just actually, finally, did something. The success from this first book gave me the courage to try something else. I am so glad I put myself out there, and thankful for the 'push' from my friend.
