Disability Pride Month is a celebration of disabled identity, community, and culture—and a reminder that access was fought for, not handed out. We’re honoring the advocates who pushed for disability justice, the 504 Sit-In, the Capitol Crawl, and the passage of the ADA (July 26, 1990).

Cleaning quick-release axles is one of those “2-minute” maintenance wins.
Wipe down the axle and spacers, add a couple drops of lubricant, then move the axle in the sleeve to spread it around. Done.
Tip: If you run spacers, don’t forget to put them back on before you take off.
How to change a wheelchair tire (without fighting it the whole time).
Start away from the valve, use tire levers to unseat the bead, pull the tube, then re-seat + inflate.
