Virtual Orchestra School

This is my student Amy. She came to her violin lesson today in her pajamas with her cold brew by her side. She takes lessons every week from the comfort of her own home in Philadelphia while I live in Houston. In addition to teaching her scales and classical music we have also spent time learning video game music and some pop. We also love to discuss baseball and national parks.
is a professional voice teacher, but she never stops learning which is why she has taken violin lessons for the past 2 years and takes virtual improv classes from London. Music is for everyone and I love that I can bring music to you in your home. Reach out today if you are interested in starting virtual music lessons in your home!

Still teaching—just not posting much. Happy Holidays from my family to yours!
Summer is over ands it’s school time again!!!
I did a thing. I started an in person homeschool orchestra class. I know my name is VIRTUAL orch school and I still do that, but I’m offering this to local Houston area homeschoolers. This is class number 2 and it’s already been very fun. Kids are learning and making music and I can’t wait to grow this group over time. 🎻
If you are a Houston area homeschooler and interested in joining send me a message. I also have 2 virtual private lesson openings I am looking to fill. Come and get them while you can!

Who else uses phrases to help students learn rhythms? I was helping a student work on audition music and she was playing it twice as slow as required and so I said no it’s like if you were ordering and said “beef taco with cheese” and that helped it click!!
