Day 7 of refinishing furniture every day for 30 days.
One thing I’ve learned from filming these videos is that time-lapses are terrible at showing how freaking long furniture refinishing actually takes. 😅
What looks like a few seconds of sanding, stripping, repairs, or finishing is actually several hours of work.
Today alone involved:
✔ Picking up a new project
✔ Final sanding and sealing on the Brasilia side table
✔ More work on the dresser from Day 2
✔ Checking repairs on the dresser base
✔ Sanding and staining another side table
Not every day ends with a dramatic reveal, but several projects are getting closer to the finish line.
Now I just need them to stop multiplying faster than I can finish them.

Vintage MCM Tobago Style Lighted China Cabinet
A great project piece! Would look fantastic painted in a matching maroon-brown paint or try your hand at adding veneer. Note this cabinet is partially made with Formica and molded architectural panels for the decoration pieces. Features three panels of glass on front and glass shelves - one shelf will need another half of glass to span the entire shelf. Features the original wiring and light works excellently. Top comes off for ease of transportation. Bottom right area has damage and could use reveneering/laminating or would be a great candidate for painting.
Bottom measures 48” wide by 18” deep by 26” tall.
Top measures 44-3/4” wide by 13-1/8” deep by 50-3/8” tall.
