Exciting news today for our friends in the Denver area:

"United Airlines is launching a flight from Denver International Airport to Roatan, Honduras.

The carrier is the first to connect Denver to Honduras with the new Saturday service. Flights will begin on December 18."

If you have ever been to Roatan chances are high Eldon’s was one of your first stops. If you have plans to move to Roatan, no doubt it will end up in your regular rotation.

This December, Eldon’s celebrates 32 years in operation. It is the oldest and largest supermarket chain on the island.

Here you will find just as many brands of imported groceries as you would domestic. (I am happy to report the cereal aisle provides as much unnecessary variety as any grocery store abroad. *An issue I personally struggled with when I was an expat in Brazil.)

Eldon’s also has a coffee shop inside the store which makes for good people watching and an excuse to prolong the inevitable supermarket run-in with friends.
