Dear Culinary Guild members,

We only have three more meetings for this HCG year! I have really enjoyed getting to know more of you and am really excited for our coming year! This month’s meeting will be held on April 17th from 5pm to 7pm at Enchanted Forest in Richmond. It is a bit of a hike, but we would like to invite everyone to bring their significant other or a friend to join us. (Please update your RSVP) Our program will be focused on how you can use herbs to bring flavors up with your food but also help your body. Whether you want to relax or invigorate yourself, we’ve got you covered! Delicious food will be catered by Patti Ramsey and her team at Epicurean Delight. Wine is being provided by our generous Urban Chef, Chara Gafford! (Can’t wait for our return to Urban Chef on May 8th!) Our June 12th meeting is with Emma Balter, our Chron.com Food Editor.

We are still in need of some new Board Members. If you have an hour of available time, once a week, that would be more than enough! Most of our work is done over the summer. Talk with Barbara Bronstein or me to see how best you can help HCG!

Everyone who has made it to Enchanted Forest has enjoyed a magical visit. Come browse around and enjoy a huge selection of everything imaginable, from Fairy Gardens to House Plants, Veggies to Herbs and Orchids to Azaleas. We will have a lovely, informative and delicious evening.

Here is a link that will give you but an inkling of what’s in store for you! Come early if you can, we bet you will love it!

See you on the 17th!

BEE 2 BEE Honey offers a wide variety of hyper local honeys. I bought the wildflower, clover, and mesquite. I'm already planning on getting the assorted savory honey gift set for everyone on my Christmas list this year.

MIYAS MUNCHIES SAVORY POT PIES! Oh my goodness. What beautiful pot pies! Lots of options, completely scratch made, take and bake. Definitely a must try from the Heights Farmers Market.
