I just saw a scathing remark reprimanding Tim Scott. The post said he was trying to make his way back to the Black community, but the writer said he was not welcome.

I clearly understand that position

But for some reason, it’s hard for me to reject a repentant brother.

He will have a long road to travel to win any kind of trust or loyalty from our community, but there’s just something in me that won’t allow me to leave him out there alone if he wants to come back.

Now Clarence Thomas?

That brother may be too far gone and could not find his way back under any circumstances.
