Here's my take on why this is a bad idea...

1. It only reports to one bureau..boooooooo
2. Boosting inflates your DTI and should never be done when purchasing a home.
3. Its fake points. In the sense that your real score is still under there and that's what needs to change.
4. It doesn't work properly. Trust me I used to "boost" and my payments would get skipped and the score wasn't going up. I disconnected the boost and nothing changed.

1. Keep your utilization between 1-3%
2. Have a good credit mix.
3. Pay on time.
