DREAUX, sometimes known as Divine Sensai or The Muse of Materials, who always had a love for Music and the Arts was uprooted from her hometown New Orleans home at the age of 10 in 2005. After transferring school to school when first arriving to Houston, Tx, it was hard to adjust to new life in the big city, especially not knowing if she would ever get to return home. Once a year of middle school p
assed, she realized she realized she may never be returning home and began settling in to her favorite hobbies at her new middle school where she took on art classes and played in the jazz band playing the trumpet. DREAUX only played the trumpet up until her 9th grade year of high school, but Art was something that she confided in and continued to keep present in her life all the way throughout college. Once reaching the "real world" after going away for school, it seemed at the time, no one in the busy social media world had time to appreciate Artists and there were so many intimidating styles by amazing worldwide, she began feeling uninspired to stay active in Art...
That is until fast forward to mid 2023, Artist and known Houston designer for her brand "DREAUX-lusional" decided to create a deeper meaning to the brand DREAUX-lusional and add a unique taste of style to her garments, or what she likes to call, "Wearable Art". In the rebranding of DREAUXlusional, the brand is where seemingly "delusional" and inspiring affirmations are embraced as powerful tools to unlock the unlimited potential of whom who wears it.
