Take a quick walkthrough of This is That, the current solo exhibition by Houston musician and visual artist Rock Romano in the East Gallery. Known for his vivid, kinetic style, Romano translates the improvisational energy of a life in music onto the canvas through overlapping swatches of vibrant color, swirling shapes, and unexpected hidden details.

A thriving art scene isn’t defined by just one style! It’s defined by the depth and diversity of its voices. Right now, we are proud to have available works in our gallery from two artists who have shaped our creative community in different ways: Rock Romano and Dave Clark.
Rock Romano channels the vibrant, fluid energy of a lifetime spent in the music scene directly onto his panels, giving us pure, kinetic visual rhythm.
Dave Clark captures our collective imagination through a lens of sharp wit and graphic precision, crafting Sardonic Short Stories that make us pause and think.
