HOUSTON PREMIERE of NURSE UNSEEN!
NURSE UNSEEN () explores the little-known history and humanity of the unsung Filipino nurses who risked their lives on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, while facing a resurgence of anti-Asian hate in the streets.
The screening will be followed by a Q&A with our guest of honor - director Michele Josue ()!
Our afternoon concludes with a community story circle organized by .studio and a community lunch - featuring delicious Filipino food!
We are so thrilled to host the first public screening of NURSE UNSEEN in Houston, where so many Filipino healthcare workers live and serve our community.
