"The grace period for parking violations in Dedicated Bicycle Lanes ends January 13, 2021. ParkHouston will be enforcing the City’s No Parking in Dedicated Bicycle Lane ordinance with fines beginning on Thursday, January 14, 2021."

The grace period for parking violations in Dedicated Bicycle Lanes ends today. City of Houston ParkHouston will begin enforcing the No Parking in Dedicated Bicycle Lane ordinance. Any vehicle found parked in a bike lane will receive a $100 fine. Drivers who receive a citation may take an online Bicycle Friendly Driver’s Course to request a waiver of the fine.
