A Canadian man has been sentenced to 33 years in federal prison for targeting over 100 children across the U.S. in one of FBI Houston's largest s*xtortion cases. For years, Ramanan Pathmanathan, 40, used multiple social media accounts to contact at least 145 girls and boys demanding them to engage in s*xually explicit conduct. A Corpus Christi man was found guilty last week of making a terroristic threat against a Del Mar College 2024 event and stalking and harassing former girlfriends and their families. Alleged active-shooter residing illegally in New Caney has been federally charged of being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm. Juan Ayala-Montero, 60, is accused of firing his rifle at a group of neighbors after an argument, hitting one person. An AR-style rifle with a scope was recovered in the suspect's bedroom. FBI Houston assisted in the investigation.
