Shiny new forklift. So often we find our equipment used or second hand and our magicians have to bring it back to life. This 17.5k Toyota industrial lift with all the toys, is straight to work. Toyota dealer worked hard with us to get us what we needed and the best value for our membership.

Environmental emergency response training with the folks from Hawaii Independent Energy. Canal booming and containment training to respond to worst case scenario. Great group of guys, nice to see a proactive company training and looking ahead.

Clean Islands fire brigade member participated as a member of the instructor cadre for the new Phoscheck Hellfighter Academy at Texas A&M. Special thanks to Frank Bateman, Mark Turvey, Brad Cary and all of the other amazing instructors that helped to bring us into the fold.

Taking a short break from marine firefighting, the 50th state fire conference, ordering class b foam, designing hydraulic power units and oil spill training on the outer islands, we decided to start building aluminum trailers. Got a quote for some custom aluminum trailers that made me cringe, so time to strap in and get to work. I figure 75-85% cost savings to our members, can literally build 4-5 for the price of one.
