Hawaii Fine Linen Rentals

Our wedding rental company is looking for an intern to assist with marketing and events. This is a great opportunity to learn the vendor side of the wedding and events industry. You will get to interact with other vendors such as wedding planners and florists, and see how events come together on site.

Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling and posting on social media to increase brand awareness.
- Engaging with other social media users to increase following and engagement.
- Communicating with wedding planners and clients to finalize logistical details.
- Building photo library and increasing online reviews.
- Assisting with event preparation, such as folding napkins and polishing silverware.
- Assisting at weddings and events with set up and clean up.
- Managing accurate inventory counts.
- Other responsibilities as needed.

The desired candidate will have the following skills:
- College student or graduate with an interest in the weddings and events industry.
- Experience in posting and scheduling content for social media.
- Experience in events is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in graphic design and photography is preferred but not required.
- Organized and detailed-oriented.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Professional, honest, and courteous.
- Works well under pressure.
- Ability to listen and follow instructions.
- Have access to a computer, internet and own transportation.

Hours include:
- 10-20 hours per week.
- Majority of work will be done remotely unless working on-site at an event.
- Weekday hours are flexible but must be available on most weekends to assist at events.

Pay:
- This internship is unpaid but there is a possibility for it to turn into a paid position depending on performance.
- We are also happy to write a letter of recommendation upon completion of this internship.
