Evolv Shaman & Shaman LV 2022 model.

Chris Sharma's signature model got a few minor changes in the 2022 iteration. Stiffer heel rand and slightly tweaked heel cup help drive more power to your toes, and make heel hooking more solid and predictable. Stiffer midsole at the front of the shoe (1.6mm plastic) give you more support while edging, and really help lock your toes into the "love bump", though you sacrifice sensitivity especially with the 4.2mm thick rubber. Thinner tongue allow the velcro to secure your foot better vs the old thick squishy tongue. The biggest change are the asthetics, coming from the blue and orange design.

These shoes are similar to the La Sportiva Solutions, but significantly more comfortable and easy to put on due to the split tongue & triple velcro, the wider and rounder toe compared to the Solution's super pointy precise toe. These shoes are a good choice for someone with a wider foot looking for an aggressive shoe. While the Shamans use Evolv's stickiest SAS rubber, the Solution's XS Grip & the thinner 1.1mm midsole make the Solutions more sensitive and precise. The Shamans are also fully synthetic & vegan friendly.
