What a delight and inspiration to visit a house and lives lived with and shaped by art.

Walking through the Boschi Di Stefano House Museum felt less like visiting a museum and more like being welcomed into the home of two people who believed that art is to be enjoyed and lived alongside . Antonio Boschi and Marieda Di Stefano spent decades beginning in the 1920s collecting works by some of Italy’s most celebrated modern artists, not as investors, but as passionate collectors who loved living alongside beauty. By the end of their lives, they had built a collection of more than 2,000 works, generously donating it to the city so we could experience it too.

What inspired me most wasn’t just the incredible art on the walls—it was the idea that a lifetime of curiosity, love, and intention could create something so enduring. Every room tells a story, and every painting feels like a conversation between the couple and the artists they believed in.
