February recap 🌊
Last month was full in the best way. From all our Tuesday keiki development days, to multiple one-day sea turtle conservation programs, we’ve been keeping busy out in the water and with our community. We also got to slow it down a bit for some team bonding! Spending time learning together as a part of our cultural integration pillar, by doing an unforgettable cultural access day at Makua Valley! We have also have partnered with 808 cleanups to survey Kaloko inlet for fish diversity and vertebrate abundance!
We are grateful for all the moments, the people, and the purpose behind it all. Can’t wait to see what the next month brings!

Outplanting RECAP!🪸
We finally got back in the water to start planting some of the fragmented corals that have officially grown onto their plugs from the Hana Pūkoʻan event! Such a full circle moment!
There are still many more to plant, and next up is long-term monitoring, tracking growth, survival, and overall reef health over time. This is just the beginning 💙
Please note that it is illegal to touch and handle live coral without a special activity permit. All coral depicted in this photo is permitted under DAR SAP2026-34
