Legends say that once this tea cured a princess of the Ming Dynasty from a serious illness, and since then the healing power of Da-Hong Pao has been considered undeniable. But in fact, a large component of its price is a rarity. The last tea harvest from the last four Da-Hong Pao tea bushes was in 2005, and there is no next one in sight.
