For my mommies who have experienced a positive, empowering, mother led birth, how many times have you been asked “omg can you tell me all about your birth?”

How many times have you shared your positive birthing story and got the “look” from other women? By the “look” I’m talking about the face women make when you share your positive story after everyone else just shared their horror birthing story. The look that says “how dare you share your positive birth story?” “She’s just trying to show off🙄”

Listen Momma….they may not know it yet but by you sharing your amazing experience, it is actually Healing for other women as a collective.

Everything I know now; I wish I knew back then.....

18, pregnant and I had NO CLUE what was in store for me.

I remember just living on auto pilot during my pregnancy. I didn't really think about giving birth. I would look up videos on youtube and just watch childbirth videos of other women giving birth and that was about it.

Taking classes to prepare for birth or even just the thought of "I needed to prepare" was not in question. I felt this pressure of just because I was a Woman, I "should" already "know" how to do this? I just show up to the hospital and pop this baby out. Right?

Boooyyyy was I in for the RIDE OF MY LIFE......
