Had a productive discussion with Honolulu Department of Parks and Recreation, Envision Kaimuki, and community leaders about the management and future of Maumae Community Park in Kaimuki. Looking forwarding to making this beautiful park more accessible and fire resistant!

Mahalo to Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement for hosting the House Working Groups and to Lieutenant Governor Sylvia Luke for leading the discussion. I was happy to share ideas on how Hawaii can improve its food, water, and supply distribution systems during emergencies.
