📢 Call for Applications: Two Tenure-track Faculty Positions at The Department of Communication, Yonsei University 📢

The Department of Communication at Yonsei University (Seoul, South Korea) invites applicants for two full-time, tenure-track faculty positions in the area of 1) Journalism and Political Communication and 2) Public Relations and Strategic Communication (broadly defined). We are seeking a scholar who will contribute to the excellence and diversity of our academic community through research, teaching, and service.

📌 Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a doctoral (or equivalent) degree, or expect to obtain one prior to the appointment start date (which is March 1st, 2027). Please note that if the degree is not conferred by the appointment date, the hiring offer will be rescinded.
- The department will evaluate a candidate based on career stage. For candidates applying at the assistant professor level (i.e., those who have received their Ph.D. relatively recently), we will assess not only their research accomplishments to date but also place significant weight on future research potential.

공통 지원 자격 및 관련 사항
- 커뮤니케이션학, 미디어학, 사회과학 혹은 관련 분야 전공자로서 임용일 전(2027년 3월 1일)까지 박사학위 취득이 가능하신 분(임용일 전 박사학위 미 취득 시 임용 취소)
- 경력에 따른 차등 평가 방법을 적용합니다. 박사학위 취득 후 경력이 비교적 짧은 조교수급 지원자의 경우, 현재까지의 연구 실적 뿐 아니라 향후 연구 잠재력 또한 비중 있게 평가할 예정입니다.
