You been thinking about wanting to start your own business, but scared to quit your 'day job'? Well keep in mind.....

You Don't Have To Quit Your 9-5 To Start A Successful Business!

Here are a couple of key things to consider:

🔑
Although you should go "all in" in terms of effort and discipline, you don't have to go quit your day job in order to do this! Matter of fact, in many cases it is probably much better if you KEEP your full time job WHILE you start your new business. Here's why....

✅Keeping your 9-5 can help reduce stress because you're not worried about not having an income while you start your business.

✅You can chip away at your business, allowing you to refine your strategies and processes before launching.

✅Keeping your day job could prevent you from making potentially hasty decisions.

So, keep in mind that although quitting your job to pursue your passions full-time could sound appealing, and in some cases it may be necessary, OFTEN it might not be the best decision in the long run.

The US officially celebrates FREELANCING!

Here at EntreLiving we cheer for all of you freelancing entrepreneurs in every trade, craft, & career!

The momentum continues to grow with people globally who are overcoming their fears and choosing to be freelancing entrepreneurs?

Did you know that over 1700 people EACH DAY become $millionaires in the US alone? And that number has been steadily growing, according to Forbes.

Here at EntreLiving, we respect and have deep appreciation for ALL working people. Regardless of whether you work as an employee, you are self employed, or you are a business owner. And becoming a millionaire is certainly NOT the single defining characteristic of success or fulfillment in life.

Yet, if your vision for YOUR life includes abundance, financial independence, and the ability to CHOOSE your own path, entrepreneurialism is likely your best 'vehicle' of choice. While it is possible to attain millionaire status working as an employee, the VAST MAJORITY of millionaires made it by becoming entrepreneurs!

On this National Freelancers Day, and regardless of your financial accomplishments, we pause to celebrate and cheer for the growing number of you who are shifting toward freelance, entrepreneurial living in the new economy. Collectively we are redefining the modern workforce as we individually create unique value to others in this global marketplace.👏💯

Hey fellow entre humans!! Today I had to deal with a mistake that a person on my team made with a client. Sheesh, not fun having upset customer, right? But the experience provided a vivid reminder of a couple BEAUTIFUL things.....

1) Amazing things CAN emerge from rough experiences
2) To error is human. To own our errors and take positive, corrective steps, THAT is where the 'magic' happens
3) Humans CAN BE very forgiving!

So our experience today gave us (my team) an extra opportunity to be humble AND respectful. Humble in our choice to admit to the customer that we had made a mistake and to authentically apologize to them. And respectful in our choice to ask the customer how we could make it right to them.

In this case, and by embracing those attitudes, we found the customer to be willing to forgive and appreciative of the chance to be heard and valued.

I've been doing business long enough to realize that it does NOT always turn out that way. Not every frustrated customer is 'winnable'.

But years of experiences HAVE also taught me that this attitude and approach will GREATLY increase your odds of finding common ground and acceptable resolutions with customers who have had a poor experience with you, your company, or your employees.

We CERTAINLY aim for perfection with and for our customers! But when we fall short, remember that your attitude and how you choose to react to the broken situation will be the biggest determining factor in what kind of resolution you are able to create.

It may not be ideal that the crayons are broken. But you can still make a beautiful picture with the broken pieces.
