Today I had the privilege of officiating a wedding ceremony for someone I've known for a very long time, and it was such an honor to stand beside them as they began this new chapter.

When you work in weddings professionally, it's easy to get caught up in timelines, logistics, décor, vendor calls, and all the moving pieces that make a wedding day come together. Sometimes, without even realizing it, you can lose sight of what it's all truly about.

Standing there today, speaking about love and commitment, was a beautiful reminder.

Marriage isn't about perfection. It's about choosing each other again and again. It's about having someone to celebrate the highs with, lean on during the lows, and share all of life's ordinary moments in between. It's laughter, patience, forgiveness, teamwork, friendship, and building a life together one day at a time.

Getting to witness that promise firsthand reminded me why I fell in love with this industry in the first place. Beyond the flowers, the dresses, and the details, it's always been about the people and the love they share.
